I have noticed this type of problem when at the base section of the towers, not on the ground, but still on the towers. I usually have to throw a second hive and that one will work.

I have had this happen several times. I select a spawn location, say the defending base point. When I actually do spawn, it is someplace completely different, say on a drop ship. Not sure why this happens. I could understand it if it was a control...
